Foundation of Powertronic GmbH as a pure trading company
Sale of DC/DC- and AC/DC converters, laboratory- and UPS systems

1992

Move to our current company seat in Kirchlengern (Germany)
Development of a new product range of DC/DC converters for stationary
and non-stationary railway applications

1996

Certification acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001

2006

Expansion of the company seat in Kirchlengern (Germany)
Powertronic GmbH was given a new corporate structure as GmbH & Co. KG of which
Mr. Sven Hobrock is the managing director
Development of a combined 3KW onboard power supply/ battery charger
with current monitoring especially for diesel-electric locomotives
